About the Artist

Leda Black lives in the Washington, D.C. area. Her primary medium is digital imagery printed by high resolution archival inkjet. Most of her recent work is part of the Female Power Project, started in 2015. Previously she concentrated on book arts—writing, printing, and binding limited edition artists books under the imprint Palabra Press. This coming weekend, The Female Power Project wil This coming weekend,  The Female Power Project will have a small presence at Sparkle Mart in Greenbelt, MD. This is a juried art and craft festival on Saturday, December 7 (10:00-5:00) and Sunday the 8th (10:00-4:00). Sarah and Rose will be staffing because I will be at the Downtown DC Holiday Market.

I will have the buttons, 8x10 prints, and a few shirt designs (including the smash hit, A Girl With A Book in toddler, kids, and unisex adult sizes).
