About the Artist

Leda Black lives in the Washington, D.C. area. Her primary medium is digital imagery printed by high resolution archival inkjet. Most of her recent work is part of the Female Power Project, started in 2015. Previously she concentrated on book arts—writing, printing, and binding limited edition artists books under the imprint Palabra Press. These are my most affordable 8x10 perSISTERS in @thefemalepowerproject . This is my first market in Silver Spring and I want to make it easy for people to hang multiple prints. There will be shirts and buttons, too. See you!

To continue the "mother" theme... I've been researching Mother Jones. I'm listening to her autobiography. It's hilarious AND shocking. Good stuff and I recommend it.
She also has a portrait in a fabulous hat. That's ALWAYS a plus.
